Aromatic whole cardamoms, used in Indian cuisine. Seeds and ground cardamoms loose there flavour quickly, so always try and buy whole pods. Dispose of outer pods before grinding.

For the best flavour to be brought out you need to dry roast the seeds. Split open the pods and take out the seed. Heat a frying pan and cook the seeds until roasted.
